Essentially there are three steps to get a job in Oslo. Finding the job, applying for the job and going to the interview.

If you are new in Oslo, the biggest challenge is often not where to click first, but how to build a simple routine and keep going.

Step 1: Find relevant jobs

Check job boards and company websites often.
Ask people you know if they have heard about openings.
Look for part-time, weekend and entry-level jobs if you need work experience quickly.

You do not need a perfect background to get started, but you do need a clear CV and a simple application that explains why you are applying.

When an employer calls, be ready to explain who you are, why you want the job and what kind of work you can do.
